Two new wineries waiting to be discovered...
Last week my friend Sabine from Taste the South Wine Tours and I went out and about to explore two new wineries that recently opened in the Margaret River Region. There is simply no better way to spend your day off than sipping on some fabulous wine. Our first stop was the hidden gem JARVIS ESTATE. Tucked away a few kilometres after Colonial Brewery on Osmington Road, this estate opened its cellar door late December 2016. The owners Matt and Jackie have been making wine since 1997 and live on the estate. We met the owner Matt who took us behind the scene to see the latest harvest. The cellar door is very rustic and they have a big grassed are just outside perfect for bringing your own picnic while sipping and testing all their wines.
